We’re looking for an experienced Tech Lead who can identify opportunities and lead a growing team of Engineers to help them build and maintain our products. The ideal candidate for this role requires a solid engineering background with management skills. who is also an independent thinker and makes convincing, evidence-based decisions. He/She should be able to define clear roadmaps to innovation and is comfortable thinking strategically and diving deep. Moreover, who can mentor/coach engineers and help them unblock.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of development, including technical planning, creation, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.   
  • Lead agile development and project planning. Proficient in project planning process (Agile, TDD, etc). Responsible for the delivery and timeline of the roadmap
  • Lead technical architecture discussion and quality code delivery.
  • Work with the engineering team, QA and Product teams to effectively run the product roadmap.
  •  Keep everyone in the company informed of your team’s progress.
  •  Work with the Support team to keep track of and triage technical issues and track it through to resolution.
  • Helping set and fulfill the engineering hiring plan for the team, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Help implement effective engineering processes and policies.
  • Improve release process and managing bug/feature backlog.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience and 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  • Experience building and leading a team in the development and rapid delivery of software products.
  • Should have worked/good knowledge on the programming languages (NodeJs/React and Python)
  • Excellent knowledge of best-practices and coding patterns
  •  You are proficient at reading and writing code and have built, shipped and maintained software.
  • You have experience in managing, coaching software developers to help them level up.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can communicate within your team and across teams.
  • You have good project management skills and can lead, keep track of and prioritize between multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of dockers, kubernetes, golang is a plus.
  • You have been actively learning and keeping up with the industry both in terms of software development and product.

Qualification

BE/Btech or equivalent.
