Role Overview:
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving enterprise sales, building strategic relationships, and expanding Yappes’ footprint across identified sectors. This is a high-impact, client-facing role requiring a strong blend of sales acumen, consultative selling capability, and the ability to engage with senior technology and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive end-to-end sales cycles (from lead generation to deal closure) for enterprise customers.
Identify and engage target accounts across enterprises.
Build, maintain and leverage relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers.
Lead discovery conversations to understand client challenges around API management, security, governance, and ecosystem enablement.
Position Yappes as a strategic platform aligned to enterprise needs.
Conduct high-quality product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs tailored to client use cases.
Work closely with internal teams to craft business proposals and RFP responses.
Manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting with discipline using a CRM tool.
Collaborate with partner firms to drive joint GTM initiatives.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory developments.
Required Skills & Experience:
Professional Background: 3–5 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, with a strong preference for candidates coming from API management, cloud, or enterprise software sectors.
Consultative Sales Excellence: Proven expertise in consultative selling and complex stakeholder management.
Executive Presence: Ability to engage confidently and build rapport with C-level executives and senior leadership.
Technical Literacy: Comprehensive understanding of the enterprise tech landscape, specifically APIs, cloud, integrations, and security.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, and high-stakes negotiation.
Value Proposition: Proven ability to translate technical features into clear, compelling business value.
Sales Rigor: Highly disciplined in pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-driven, "go-getter" attitude with a relentless focus on delivering results in a high-growth environment.
